BUILDINGS OF DISASTER REDUX

The new miniature is devoted to the Grenfell Tower in London, the site of the deadliest UK residential fire since the Blitz of World War II.

The miniature shows the tower a few months after the blaze, when the building was covered in a protective wrap for facilitating the forensic investigation. Amidst much controversy, a gradual dismantling of the remaining structure began in September 2025, with the goal of replacing it with a memorial to the victims. The miniature’s angular base delineates a proposed site for the future memorial.

The piece measures 2” by 4” by 4.25” high. Every object is individually cast in metallic resin, hand-finished, and consecutively numbered. No more than 200 pieces will be made.
