BUILDINGS OF DISASTER REDUX

Notre-Dame Fire, Paris, April 15, 2019

The historical fire broke out in the roof space of the cathedral. By the time the fire was extinguished, most of the roof and the spire of the 800-year-old building collapsed, while the interior suffered a lesser damage. A short-circuit of electrical wiring is considered a likely cause of the blaze. The French government pledged to reopen the cathedral by 2024.

The miniature measures 2” by 5” by 3” high. Every object is individually cast in metallic resin, hand-finished, and consecutively numbered. No more than 200 pieces will be made.
