Suspended Jars are based on simple storage idea found in many people’s garages.
Collect six identical glass jars from jam or mayonnaise with metal screw-on lids. Their labels have to be removed by soaking jars in hot water. Arrange the lids upside down on a plank of wood and attach each lid with at least two short screws. Mount the plank with the lids under a shelf or a kitchen cabinet. Screw in the jars.
(We had a variation of this idea manufactured by a Dutch company DMD in 1999.)
